Things To Keep In Mind
When creating a campaign in Google Ads it’s very important that you focus on what your goal for the campaign is. If your goal is to drive as many phone call leads to your HVAC business as possible it’s important to keep that goal when writing ad copy, selecting keywords, and building out your campaign.
What I recommend
We recommend using landing pages for each of our campaigns as they convert better and can significantly impact the results of your campaign. Yes, they cost a bit of money to set up and run but we think it is completely worth it for the return on investment you will see inside your google ads campaign. We also recommend using third-party tracking like CallRail to properly track all of your phone call leads. This way you can accurately gauge how successful your campaign is in real-time and if the calls you’re getting are valuable to your business.
The Results
I created a separate video on the results of this campaign here. The results were fantastic and it just goes to show that if you’re willing to put a little work into Google Ads it can deliver some amazing results for your company. If I were to change one thing for this Google Ads HVAC Campaign I would put more emphasis on selecting super high buying intent keywords and really only expanding the account once we had enough data on some winning keywords.
